Chief Pathways Guide, District 48
In April 2019, I reached out to our District leadership about a High-Performance Leadership Project idea for my Effective Coaching path, Level 5. My vision was to make the District 48 Pathways web page a go-to resource for its members. Six months later, and with the help of 10 fellow Toastmasters and two Guidance Committee members, I am pleased to introduce a new Pathways Resource webpage. You may view it HERE.
The page presents several quality resources, gathered from a variety of Toastmaster sites around the Internet. They are organized into five categories:

- External Website Links
As you may be aware from our recent Toastmasters Leadership Institute sessions, we have encouraged Club Leadership to strive to get 100% of their members to complete at least one Pathways level this year. Whether this is their first level in Pathways, or their next, we feel it is critical in 2019-20 to help our District membership transition successfully into the Pathways learning experience.
To that end, I have been appointed as this year’s Chief Pathways Guide with instructions to help our members transition smoothly and successfully into Pathways. I am working through the Division & Area Directors leadership structure to encourage, firstly, full club enrollment in at least one Pathways path, and, secondly, full club completion of at least one Pathways level before the June 30, 2020 deadline.
It is my hope that these new Pathways resources, which my team and I deem to be some of the best available throughout the Toastmasters world, will help educate our members, help overcome their reservations and/or anxieties, and demonstrate that there exists a new opportunity to leverage our new Pathways learning experience to become even better communicators and leaders in future.
