This virtual meeting has been scheduled to take place at:
- 9:30 a.m. on
- Saturday, September 21, 2019.
- Please reserve that morning for attendance at a virtual business meeting.
A separate registration email will be sent in September.
Who can vote?
District officers, Club Presidents, and Club Vice Presidents of Education. We cannot have proxies at a virtual business meeting. That means: When the voting process is conducted virtually, no proxies will be permitted.
Each district council member must cast their own vote. District executive committee members are entitled to one vote and may cast up to two additional votes as a club president or vice president education. All other members of the district council shall be limited to a maximum of two votes.
Where a member serves multiple clubs as president or VP-education, they are eligible for one vote per office per club. No proxies are allowed according to policy.
Registration
Registration will open on September 7 and close on September 17, 2019. You will receive a Google Form survey email to register. The purpose of that email is to register attendees for the meeting. Only registered attendees can vote. This is akin to the credentialing process for the in-person meetings. You must register by September 17, 2019.
How to access the meeting
We will be using Zoom for the meeting. The meeting information will be provided via email.
How to vote
Voting, via Election Buddy, will open during the meeting and will close 2 hours after the meeting ends. When voting opens, you will receive an email link to the voting platform. The email will go to the email address you designated during registration. There will be a separate ballot for each item: confirmation of appointed district leaders, alignment changes, and the budget.
